This jasmine flower tea is blended from native Sichuan green tea with fresh budding jasmine flowers. Every 150 kg of this tea require 50 kg of fresh jasmine flower with 100 kg of green tea to be scented together over and over for 4 times totally to achieve the whole blending process.
Steeping Guide
- Teapot: Gaiwan or lidded teapot
- Steeping Temperature: ~212°F
- Amount: 1g:50ml (leaves:water)
Ceramic tea wares are generally recommended for jasmine tea such as gaiwan or other lidded teapot. steep up to a few times.
- Rinse the tea wares with hot boiling water.
- Use a teaspoon to move the tea leaves into gaiwan (about 4g, depending on personal taste).
- Fill up to 80% full of teapot with about hot boiling water.
- Immediately cover with lid for about 2 - 3 min. to serve.
*Gradually increase steeping time and for subsequent brewing.
